Some of you waking up this morning in the UK may have read a news article in the Sun newspaper about Blake member Jules Knight taking up an acting role in the BBC hospital drama Holby City. As strange as this might sound, it is true and we are now looking at a new chapter of Blake, an exciting prospect for us all.We would have loved to be able to give you a heads-up on this news sooner, but we only found out earlier this week and obviously have been working hard to ensure a smooth transition into the next era of Blake.
Just to assure you all, nothing changes as a result of this, the album launch is still on February 11th and the upcoming concerts will be as great as ever, albeit with some musical surprises. Though we're obviously sad to see Jules go into acting (Some fans may remember that Dom did the same) these things are just a normal part of the music industry. As the phrase goes "The Show Must Go On!" and it shall!
Ollie, Humphrey and myself hope that all our friends, fans and supporters will be by our side throughout the exciting weeks and months ahead. This is without a doubt the most important album of our career, a hinge point for the Blake of the next 6 years. We really hope that everyone who's behind us, might urge their friends and family to pre-order the new album on Amazon too, as that is the best way to support Blake at this interesting time.
We can't wait to see everyone at the upcoming concerts, there will be a lot of hugs to be shared.
